These terms govern your access to and use of NawiDunia — the website, our newsletters, and any other service we offer. By using the site you agree to be bound by them.
1. About NawiDunia
NawiDunia is a digital news and media platform publishing news, articles, opinion, video and other content on current affairs, politics, business, sport, entertainment and lifestyle.
2. Eligibility
By using the site you confirm that you are at least 18, or that you are using it under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Readers between 13 and 18 may use it only with a parent or guardian’s involvement and consent.
3. Acceptance of these terms
Continuing to use the site means you accept these terms and any update to them. We may revise them, and a revised version takes effect as soon as it is posted here, so it is worth looking again from time to time.
4. Our content
4.1 Ownership
Everything published here — text, articles, images, graphics, logos, video, audio and the look and feel of the site — belongs to NawiDunia or its licensors and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999, and other Indian intellectual property law, unless credited to a third party such as PTI, ANI or Reuters.
4.2 What you may do with it
You may read, download and print our content for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not modify it and you keep all copyright and attribution notices intact.
4.3 What you may not do
Without our written permission, you may not:
- Reproduce, republish, distribute or broadcast any content for commercial purposes;
- Scrape or crawl the site, or extract content in bulk by automated means;
- Frame or mirror any part of the site elsewhere;
- Remove, alter or obscure any copyright, trademark or attribution notice;
- Use our name, logo or trademarks without authorisation.
Syndication, reproduction and licensing requests go to support@nawidunia.com.
5. What you post
Where the site lets you post comments or other material, you confirm that it is your own or that you have the right to share it, and you grant NawiDunia a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, modify and display it on the site and in connection with our business.
You agree not to post anything defamatory, obscene, hateful, infringing, false, misleading or otherwise unlawful under Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. We may — but are not obliged to — monitor, edit or remove anything posted, and may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.
6. Editorial independence and accuracy
We report as accurately, fairly and responsibly as we can. News is often reported while events are still unfolding and may be revised as more facts emerge. Opinion, analysis and editorial pieces are the view of their author, not necessarily ours. We are not liable for errors, omissions or delays in our content, or for what anyone does in reliance on it.
If you believe something we published is factually wrong, write to support@nawidunia.com. We will review it and correct the record where a correction is warranted.
7. Third-party links and advertising
The site carries links to other websites, advertisements and sponsored content. We do not control and are not responsible for what is on a third-party site or how it handles your data, and carrying an advertisement is not an endorsement of what it advertises.
8. Newsletters and subscriptions
If you subscribe to a newsletter, an alert or a paid service, additional terms about billing, cancellation and delivery may apply and will be given to you at the time. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message we send.
9. Conduct
While using the site you agree not to:
- Break any Indian law, including the IT Act, 2000 and the rules under it;
- Upload viruses or malware, or disrupt the running of the site;
- Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent who you are connected with;
- Harass anyone, or post hate speech or incitement to violence;
- Attempt unauthorised access to our systems, servers or other people’s accounts.
10. Grievance redressal
Under the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, we appoint a Grievance Officer for complaints about content published here. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within the timelines the law prescribes.

11. No warranties
The site and everything on it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, NawiDunia, its employees, editors and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the site or its content.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NawiDunia, its officers, employees and affiliates against any claim, damage, liability or expense — legal fees included — arising out of your breach of these terms or of the law.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at the seat of our registered office — to be confirmed.
15. Severability
If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest continues in full force.
